Your first session starts with a conversation.
You don't need to know exactly which type of bodywork you need before you arrive. We'll begin with a brief consultation to talk about what's going on and determine what your individual body needs. Different techniques may be used individually or combined throughout your session.

Before Your Appointment
This is where I'd turn her instructions into easy-to-scan blocks.
Hydrate
Drink plenty of water before your appointment and plan to stay hydrated the following day as well.
What to Wear
Come in comfortable clothing. For massage therapy, you may undress to your own comfort level.
Remove jewelry and hard hair clips when possible. If we're doing craniosacral work, wearing your hair loose is best.
Nutritional or Muscle Response Testing
If nutritional counseling or muscle response testing may be part of your visit, avoid eating or taking supplements for about an hour before your appointment when possible.
After Your Session
Give your body some time to respond to the work. Stay hydrated and avoid heavy physical exertion immediately afterward when possible.

Please complete the Client History Form before your first appointment.
Download and print the form, complete it at home, and bring it with you to your appointment.

What Happens at Your First Session?
We'll begin with a brief consultation before starting hands-on therapy. This gives us a chance to talk about what you're experiencing and determine what your individual body may need.
Your appointment isn't necessarily limited to one type of bodywork. Massage, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, reflexology, or a combination of techniques may be incorporated depending on the session.
You don't have to figure it all out before you get here.

Nothing is off limits. We talk about everything.
Don't be embarrassed to bring up what you're experiencing. The more information we have about what's going on, the better we can understand the bigger picture.
Nikki also works with children, including children who are not already part of a current client's family.
There's a reason I've been called the “poop whisperer.”
